Belgium will receive 1.4 billion euros less from European recovery fund, N-VA responds: “Prime Minister De Croo negotiated a bad deal”

The resources for Belgium from the European recovery fund fall from 5.9 to 4.5 billion euros. This was confirmed by the European Commission on Thursday. This is because the Belgian economy recovered better from the corona blow last year than had previously been assumed. However, according to opposition party N-VA, the recalculation proves that the federal government has let itself be trumped at the European negotiating table.
