Belgium returns Patrice Lumumba’s remains to family on June 20

The Belgian court will return the remains of Patrice Lumumba, the first prime minister of the independent Congo in 1960, to his family on Monday 20 June in Brussels. After the return, an official ceremony will follow, where the Congolese authorities will also be represented. This is reported by the cabinet of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. It is a tooth of the murdered Lumumba in 1961.
