Federal Minister for Development Cooperation Caroline Gennez (Vooruit) is releasing an additional 1 million for emergency humanitarian aid for Libya, where devastating floods in the eastern city of Derna have already killed at least 5,300. More than 30,000 people have become homeless. The extra support from Belgium goes to the emergency fund of the International Federation of the Red Cross.
