Of the 22 recommendations made to Belgium by the Council of Europe’s anti-corruption watchdog, GRECO, at the end of 2019 on the prevention of corruption in political circles and in the police, only two have been adequately implemented or addressed. Two others have been partially implemented, the remaining eighteen are not yet. This is stated in a new report from GRECO (which stands for Group of States against Corruption).
