The Belgian federal government reduces the VAT on natural gas from 21 to 6 percent (until the end of September) and the already existing VAT reduction on electricity is extended by three months until the end of September. At the pump, the excise duties on diesel and petrol are reduced by 0.175 euros per litre, or 10 euros on a 60-litre tank. That may be happening this coming weekend.
