Russian ships are no longer allowed to enter Belgian ports from Sunday
The cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the North Sea Vincent Van Quickenborne (Open Vld) has been informed that a scenario has been prepared for the banning of ships under the Russian flag in our Belgian ports. The script will be implemented from Sunday 17 April. According to ‘De Tijd’, our country would have denied access to only one more Russian ship. For example, the ‘Malyi-B’, which transports luxury cars and tractors, would not be allowed to enter the port of Antwerp. For the time being, about twelve Russian ships en route to our country are on the radar.
