The Belgian police shot and killed a Dutch prisoner on Wednesday evening. He served his sentence in a juvenile detention center in Breda, but had escaped in the afternoon. This is confirmed by the Judicial Institutions Service (DJI) after reporting by the Flemish daily newspaper Gazette of Antwerp.
