Belgian natural gas price up to 40 percent cheaper. Yet most customers do not benefit from this. How is that possible? And can I do something about it?

Natural gas that is traded in Zeebrugge in Belgium is almost 40 percent cheaper this month than natural gas on Europe’s leading TTF exchange. The difference has also increased considerably in recent months, allowing an average family to save up to 400 euros on an annual basis. Yet most variable contracts are linked to the latter, least advantageous exchange. How did that happen? And can I do something about it?
