Deze married Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2) aimed specifically at het bestrijden van mines in en rond de Middellandse Zee. As a requirement, the vloot may have been indicated for military operations when the task force of the NAVO reacted.
De missie zou vijf maanden duren. Voorlopig is not intended for the streams near the Black Zee, allused to a military field. Belgium needs hoogstzelden deel aan dit soort missies.
