Belgian exports of goods to the United Kingdom fell by 13 percent in the period between 2018 and 2021. This was evident from new research from KU Leuven on Thursday that has mapped the impact of Brexit on trade. Exports of goods from the European Union (EU) to the UK are approximately 18 percent lower than they would have been without Brexit.
