Developers began to receive letters from Apple that their accounts were having problems due to sanctions. Similar notifications also come to those who have changed their account registration from Belarusian to another.

iOS developers who have accounts with a Belarusian address registered with Apple began to receive letters from the American corporation about their blocking due to sanctions. Screenshots of letters published editions Onliner and Mirror.io (renamed after blocking and recognizing as extremist resource Tut.by).
The notifications say that the company identified an issue while verifying the account. The information about the entity associated with it “fully matches the restricted country or one or more countries on the US government’s consolidated watch list, another government’s sanctions list, or the list of restricted regions,” the text of the letter is quoted as saying. What kind of sanctions in question is not specified.
According to Zerkalo.io, it follows from the data of AppStore connect (Apple developer’s personal account) that the legal entity of the developer, and not the bank whose account is registered in the account, falls under the restrictions mentioned in the letter.
Similar messages were received, among other things, by developers who a few months ago changed their registration from Belarusian to another, writes Onliner.
