Belarra says that the TAD is the only one that does not see Rubiales’ abuse of authority and compares the case with La Manada

The acting Minister for Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, Ione Belarra, has affirmed that the administrative courts, alluding to the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD), “they go behind society” and they are the only ones who do not see abuse of authority in the kiss of the president of the Real spanish soccer federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, to the player Jenni Hermoso and has compared this case with that of La Manada, demanding “forceful sanctions”.

“We have already seen many times in our country that the courts of justice, the administrative courts, go behind society. I hope that this time does not happen, as happened in the case of La Manadaand that we see forceful sanctions”, the general secretary of Podemos also pointed out in statements to the media upon her arrival at the anniversary ceremony of the Youth Council of Spainheld this Saturday at Caixaforum.

Authority abuse

In his opinion, these courts “would be the only ones that would not see an abuse of authority in what the whole world saw, that It’s a non-consensual kiss from your boss in front of millions of viewers”, he added.

After this, the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta, explained that the Higher Sports Council (CSD) will urge the Administrative Court of Sports (TAD) to suspend Rubiales as a precautionary measure, in application of article 102 of the Sports Law until the open file is resolved.
