Beiler Winter Wende becomes Spring Wende-Aovend with a ‘heavenly’ dinner in the Stefanuskerk

Magic with a lot of music and theater while enjoying a delicious meal. Marius Rouwenhorst

Enjoy a bite to eat in your favorite Beiler restaurant and juggle with lots of music and theater. It is possible on Saturday 23 April (19:00) during the Beiler Lente-Aovend. A new feature is the realization of a pop-up restaurant in the Stefanuskerk. The Winter-Wende-Aovend was canceled in January due to corona and will now be a ‘spring edition’.

The organization of this event has been in the hands of Harold Kamps and Henk Berghuis from the start and takes place under the umbrella of Stichting Beleef Beilen. A novelty is that with this edition the Stefanuskerk is being renamed into a pop-up restaurant. The cook of Egbert-Jan Catering will provide dinner on the spot that evening. With a joke, Kamps and Berghuis announce that ‘a heavenly four-course menu’ will be served in the church.

Artists

In addition, seven restaurants are participating. Berghuis: ,,The artists booked for January have also given the green light and are happy to participate.”

The participating restaurants are De Rooie Kater, Kota Radja, Eetcafé de Cerck, Ni Hao, ‘t Zwaantje, Piccola Roma and Pala’s. If you want to make a reservation for a night out in the Stefanuskerk, you can visit the website www.stefanuskerk.nl or call 0593 543959. Interested parties can make reservations at the other restaurants in the usual way. The reservations for the Winter Wende-Aovend have been moved to Saturday 23 April.
