The Beijing Paralympic Games closed on Sunday with the traditional closing ceremony. Sitting skier Niels de Langen carried the flag for the Netherlands into the Vogelnest stadium. Andrew Parsons, president of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), praised the Chinese organization of the event.
