What Eline has done very extensively. “I spent about three weeks doing research behind my computer for each episode. Then I went abroad for a week to do prospecting there. That is to say: visiting locations, meeting people, checking dishes and local specialties and researching a lot of practical things, because such a television crew also has to sleep and eat. Back in Belgium we worked everything out into a script. About a month later we went to our destination for the actual shooting.”
