KNOWS LUCESCU VERY WELL
Having faced Dynamo Kyiv and Mircea Lucescu twice last season while at Benfica, Jorge Jesus has great respect for his opponent.
Arguing that Lucescu is a very good coach, Jesus used the following words in his statement last year: “Lucescu is a coach I respect and admire. He is one of the coaches with the most cups in the world. After the 0-0 match in Portugal. Then I went to Lucescu and said to him, ‘You have a great team. I had to think about every moment on the field.'”

Noting that Lucescu was also very successful in tactical matters, the Portuguese coach described his colleague as follows: “Dynamo Kiev’s game actions and plans are very good. They are a strong team in set pieces, strong in positional attack and very strong in transition games.
