Pinkpop is also struggling with inflation and further rising prices. That is why the festival is forced to raise consumer prices. A consumption voucher costs more than 3 euros in June.
“We are still calculating a bit, but it will be more than 3 euros anyway,” says Niek Murray on behalf of the organization. With the last edition in 2019, a receipt still cost 2.80 euros. But as costs keep rising, an increase is inevitable.
Increase
The price for a day ticket also increased this edition, from 110 to 120 euros. But many people have still paid the old price because tickets from 2019 are still valid. “In hindsight, we should have gone up maybe $40 or $50, based on what’s been happening around the world in recent months,” Murray said. A weekend ticket costs 245 euros, but they are all sold out for this year. The Friday tickets are also all gone, so only tickets for Saturday and Sunday are still available, although Murray expects those to be sold out soon. “Fortunately, we have nothing to complain about in that regard.”

Pinkpop takes place on 17, 18 and 19 June. MetalIica, Pearl Jam and Imagine Dragons are the main acts. Earlier this week, the festival announced that the stages will be set up differently from this year.
