A fire broke out at a house on Brandenburg in Hoofddorp at the beginning of the afternoon. Two residents had to be taken to hospital for check-ups. The fire has now been extinguished.
The fire is said to have started in the bedroom of the house. Photos clearly show that there is damage to the outside of the building, on the first floor. The fire produced a lot of smoke, which is why the fire brigade worked on ventilating the house after extinguishing the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire brigade says that two people were taken from the house: “Those two people were checked in an ambulance because they had inhaled so much smoke that they were then taken to the hospital for evaluation.”
