The French indie band and the US alternative musician are also touring together.
France’s indie pop export Phoenix and American alternative rocker Beck have released a song together. The track is titled “Odyssey” and combines the distinctive styles of the musicians with its funky, relaxed sound. When you listen to it, you get a bit of a summer feeling.
It will not stay with the one track together: Beck and Phoenix will also go on tour together in the USA and South America from August 1, 2023. They are also supported by Jenny Lewis and Sir Chloe. Dates for Europe have not yet been announced.
Most recently, Phoenix delivered the album ALPHA ZULU at the end of 2022, which was awarded four out of six stars by ME author André Boße. And eight-time Grammy winner Beck already showed his desire to collaborate with other artists on his record HYPERSPACE (2019) by bringing producer Pharrell Williams on board for the recording.
