Already on Tuesday, two mothers with their five children demonstrated for peace in front of the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow. “No to war” was written on their innocent posters.
► A wish that unites all children. In Putin’s Russia? Forbidden!
Too much disobedience in the dictatorship: Putin had the women and children arrested and held for hours at a police station. Ekaterina, one of the mothers: “The children started screaming. It was hell.”
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba (40) was shocked by the Kremlin tyrant’s methods on Twitter: “Putin is waging war against children. In Ukraine, where its rockets hit kindergartens and orphanages, and also in Russia. David (7), Sofia (7) Matvey (9), Gosha (11) and Liza (11) spent the night behind bars in Moscow for their ‘NO TO WAR’ posters. The man is so scared.”
While Kremlin despot Putin children in the Ukraine bombed and arrested in Russia, thousands demonstrating in Moscow and Saint Petersburg demanding an end to the bloody invasion.
The police act brutally against them. The Russian authorities warn against participation. Demonstrations are not allowed under the pretext of security against infection in the corona pandemic.
Nevertheless, people don’t give way – although they have to fear being put in jail, maybe even beaten up. Just because they take to the streets peacefully and can’t stand Putin any longer.
