Barbie The Movie came out only two months ago, but the resident of this house already did Barbie core before it was hype. This house in a thousand-in-a-dozen flats looks just like a real dollhouse – but one with a dark edge.

Just powder the nose

We’ll start with this walk-in closet/makeup room in the first picture. It wouldn’t look out of place in a real Barbie house. The more pastel-colored walls in different colors, the rainbow-colored chests of drawers full of make-up and the large wardrobe match this perfectly.

On to the bedroom in the photo below. The candy pink wallpaper and the same window frames shine at you. The black furniture provides a great contrast – a contradiction that we encounter even more later in the house.

Pirates and Barbie

Then on to the showpiece of this house: the toilet. Bright pink tiles against a jet black wall, skulls above the toilet, an orangutan on the toilet lid: we have never seen this combination before. It is a kind of marriage between a princess and a pirate, a dark fairy tale.
