AMSTERDAM – Precisely in the Johan Cruijff ArenA, where he had his big breakthrough as an Ajax player, Christian Eriksen made a dream comeback in the Danish national team. The 30-year-old midfielder received a standing ovation from the Amsterdam crowd when he entered the field after the break and only needed two minutes to find the goal. “I’ve had beautiful years here and luckily I still remember where the goal is,” Eriksen joked afterwards.
