Jeffrey Wirtz, the boy who suddenly appears in Beau van Erven Dorens’ studio, is being very mean to Renze Klamer. “I don’t know if RTL will be very happy with that.”
You wouldn’t say it, but Luuk Ikink is already 40 years old. He started ten years ago as the sidekick in Humberto Tan’s talk show and is now a very big television star. And now Beau van Erven Dorens has introduced a kind of new guppy Luuk: 27-year-old Jeffrey Wirtz. Who tipped him off? The one and only Luuk himself!
Renze Klaver
Jeffrey has now posted a whole video on YouTube about how he ended up with Beau and in it he reveals that the three talk show hosts of RTL 4 will each be on the channel for six weeks since the departure of Eva Jinek. Now it is Beau’s turn, followed by Humberto Tan and Renze Klamer. Or, um, is it Renze Klaver?
Jeffrey really has no idea video. “For people who no longer have a TV, like me: every working day on RTL 4 they have a talk show and they do this in six-week seasons. Every six weeks they rotate with (…) Beau van Erven Dorens, Humberto Tan and Renze Kla… Klamer, Klaver, Klamer, Renze… And Renze.”
Just kidding
Oops, oops, oops, Victor Vlam thinks. The infamous media critic thinks Jeffrey in that video seems quite authentic, but: “At the same time I thought: I don’t know whether they at RTL will be very happy with everything in that video. He pretends that he does not know the name of Renze Klamer and initially calls him Renze Klaver.”
He continues in the podcast The Communicados: “Jeffrey then corrects himself and, well, okay… This is all edited, so this is a joke about the obscurity of Renze Klamer, who is actually quite nice and fun. But I will ask myself: gosh, I’m very curious how they look at this at RTL.”
Peter angry?
This will not be well received at the RTL top, Victor fears. “I think if Peter van der Vorst sees this or if Ewart van der Horst from PilotStudio sees this… They will think: our new employee is the big star on whom we have invested heavily to create a new personality show, namely Renze Klamer, torch it!”
He concludes: “Not the intention, not the intention. So I think that sometimes… Someone will probably whisper to him: well Jeffrey, if you want to give a sneer from now on, find someone from SBS 6… You know, give a sneer to Tooske or something. That is a bit safer for political interests.”
