Johan Derksen believes that Beau van Erven Dorens should have intervened on Monday when Rico Verhoeven started raving at his talk show table about subjects he has no knowledge of.
Rico Verhoeven has expressed controversial opinions about vaccinations and the intimidation of journalist Merel Ek at the talk show table of Beau van Erven Dorens. That has already gotten him a big sneer from Evert Sanwaarden and now the kickboxer also gets Johan Derksen over him.
Too little brains
Johan thinks he is a stupid boy. “Look, Our Lord is handing out, isn’t it? One gets a big l*l and the other a big nose, but he has a little too much muscle, I have the impression, and a little too little brains,” he says in Today Inside.
Table guest Job Knoester: “I think it’s really silly. I think they should protect a boy like that from themselves.”
Johan: “Yes, but he is so g**l of himself that he will sit everywhere and tell you that he wants to be a movie star.”
Criticism of Beau
Such a Rico should not be given a podium by Beau, in Job’s opinion. “The editors know in advance what he is going to say and that he is going to do it. You don’t ask that boy that question, do you? You have to protect him from himself. I think you also need to know when not to say anything and this would have been a good moment for Rico.”
Johan thinks Beau has failed. “Such a presenter may say: ‘You are talking from your neck’?”
Wilfred Genee: “Beau let him walk, but the girl sitting next to it – Floor I believe – tried to explain a little bit that someone is called a sewer rat.”
shabby
Johan finds it disappointing that Beau leaves that to another dinner guest. “I think that’s just so poor. That the presenter, who is the moderator, lets it go, and that a table guest actually takes over that role.”
All in all, Rico has done a lot for Johan. “He’s a very nice guy, but this hits the spot.”
