The 20-year-old acting talent Walt Klink sat with a rather arrogant attitude in Beau van Erven Dorens’ talk show last night. It gets him comments, including from Diva Mayday.
Beau van Erven Dorens had some acting guy sitting at his talk show table last night, who hopes to break through in America after some roles in Dutch productions. He has now managed to get a role in a Kiefer Sutherland series at one of the streamers. And that gave him another talk show appearance at Beau yesterday.
‘Yes, it’s cool’
This Walt Klink sat at the table as if he were some kind of gift from God. Beau announced him as follows: “An average twenty-year-old boy from a small Frisian village suddenly appears out of nowhere on film sets in Hollywood next to stars such as Emily Blunt and Kiefer Sutherland, but Walt Klink really does that.”
How does Walt like working with Kiefer? “Yes, it’s cool. I actually didn’t know who he was. haha. No man. But my father does, you know. He said, “Oh, yes, I know that one.” But I didn’t know until the set that he was a great actor, yes.”
Poop and pee
Walt has put himself on a very “cool” attitude. And that cool Walt is not at all impressed by that famous Kiefer. “Yeah, you know, I think it’s funny. I get this question a lot of times from, “What was he like?” How was he?’ But it is also just someone who poops and pees.”
Then Beau places this Walt in a row with Marwan Kenzari, Carice van Houten and Halina Reijn, Dutch actors who are successful abroad. “And Rutger… And Rutger”, adds Walt dead serious.
Beau: “Rutger Hauer, Jeroen Krabbé of course, Derek de Lint.”
‘Come over again!’
When Walt is asked to respond to something from current affairs, nothing meaningful comes out: “What do I think? I don’t know, dude. I don’t actually watch that much news, I don’t care much about it. I’m just here for love, you know. No more.”
The conversation with this ‘cool dude’ is so difficult that Beau enters no time moves on to the next topic. “Very nice. Well, good luck and come back again.”
Walt: “Yeah, that’s fine. Thank you Beau.”
Then Walt gets up and walks away from the table, only to be sent back again. After all, guests getting up to move to another place only happens during instarts, when they are not in the picture.
Fierce criticism
Beau viewers take quite a beating for Walt, including the well-known Diva Mayday. “Can you get even more stupid and uninterested in a talk show? Top of ring that Walt Klink. I’d rather watch the Tata Steel executive for another hour than watch this one for one more second… I have no words for it,” she tweeted.
Kijker Constant: “Arrogance in Hollywood is not a good start. You will never hear from this boy again.”
Jeroen: “Wtf is the problem with that actor with Beau?”
Janny: “Extraordinary man. Beau is beating a dead horse.”
And Lex: “What an arrogance…”
