Two days later, on May 29th, they gave a concert at the Cassiopeia club in Berlin, which was sold out just a few minutes after the announcement.

In their newsletter, the Beatsteaks wrote in advance:
“We are extremely happy to announce that we will be playing a concert at the Cassiopeia club in Berlin on May 29th. We also recorded a new song called “Kommando Sunshine” which will be released on May 27th. We intend to play it live in Cassiopeia, take it with us on video and use it later. So if you have concerns about being in the picture, you have been warned and prefer not to buy a ticket. Everyone else expressly agrees that their souls are ours for the night.”
This is what the artwork of the single looks like:
On May 18, the Beatsteaks played their first concert in three years – in the Potsdam wash house, free of charge for 1400 nursing staff. A day later, on May 19, they gave a larger open-air show there.
In the summer, the Beatsteaks play various large solo and festival shows. An overview of their live data can be found on their homepage.
The Beatsteaks have released eight records in their career so far. The current one, a double album called YOURS, was released in 2017. The cover EP IN THE PRESENCE OF followed in 2020. A new album has not yet been announced.
