With the publication of images from a surveillance camera, the Berlin police are asking for help in finding a suspect.
The stranger is said to have stepped up to the checkout of a supermarket on Selgenauer Weg in Rudow on October 20, 2022 and repeatedly hit the cashier in the head with a beer bottle. The man then took three-digit cash out of the till and fled, a police spokesman said. The cashier suffered a bleeding laceration on her head as a result of the attack.

The wanted person is male, about 25-30 years old, between 190 and 195 cm tall, has a slim build. During the day he wore black training pants with white stripes on the sides, a light hooded hoodie and white sneakers with black soles on the back.
