The beach volleyball duo Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann are in the semi-finals of the Pro Tour finals in Doha.
In the quarterfinals, the 2022 World Cup third-placed team won 2-1 (18:21, 21:14, 15:9) against the Brazilian duo Taina/Victoria. The two Germans thus achieved revenge for the lost round of 16 at the World Cup in Mexico in October.
Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler (Hamburg) clearly missed the quarter-finals. The German champions lost the first three tournament games, but at least celebrated a victory at the end. Ehlers/Wickler won 2-0 (21:13, 21:13) in the last group game against the Italians Adrian Carambula/Alex Ranghieri.
The finals are the conclusion and highlight of the Beach Pro Tour. Only the top eight teams in the respective men’s and women’s world rankings as well as two wild card teams each are allowed to take part.
