If you have to hit the road on Tuesday morning, be careful. The KNMI warns of dense fog in Brabant and has declared code yellow. It is also foggy in other parts of the country. Visibility is less than two hundred meters in many places and as little as seventy meters locally.
Rijkswaterstaat and the ANWB expect a heavy rush hour, partly due to the fog. It is always very busy on Tuesdays. Motorists are advised to use the front fog lights when visibility is less than 200 metres.
Only Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel and Limburg do not have a fog warning. According to the KNMI, the fog will dissipate in the course of the morning.
