BC Oostende conquers 24th national title, the twelfth in a row
Ostend took the initiative in its own COREtec Dôme right from the start. After the first quarter, the home team led 18-15 and coach Dario Gjergja’s team expanded that lead in the second quarter. The Giants, for example, trailed 41-24 at halftime.
After the break, the defending champion continued his momentum, allowing Ostend to start the fourth and final period with a safe lead of eighteen points (61-43). Antwerp tried to make the impossible happen in the last ten minutes, but Ostend held on smoothly and even ran out. Substitute and departing club legend Dusan Djordjevic symbolically made the last three-pointer.

Vrenz Bleijenbergh and Pierre-Antoine Gillet both scored 13 points for Ostend. Desonta Bradford was the most efficient visitor with 14 points.
Ostend had started the final against Antwerp with a slip. It lost the first match in the Lotto Arena 63-62. But then two convincing victories followed (94-60 and 70-86).
