BBL: Alba extends winning streak – Frankfurt now last – Bundesliga – Basketball

Braunschweig better at first

Braunschweig were wide awake in defense in the first quarter and scored well from the line of three. The Berliners fell behind by ten points and now had to do without national player Maodo Lo, who was ailing and substituted. Thanks to two three-point shots by Jonas Mattisseck, Alba was able to shorten the lead to 21:22 at the end of the quarter.

The Berliners found their way into the game better and also defended more intensively. Braunschweig held back physically. Alba went into the dressing room with a 42-37 lead. After the break, the Berliners adjusted better to the way the guests played and started to pull away. The offensive rhythm was there and Braunschweig could no longer keep up the intensity. In the end, favorite Alba clearly won.

Frankfurt now last

The Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt lost the basement duel against s.Oliver Würzburg 61:69 (25:44) and slipped down to last place with 10:36 points behind the JobStairs Giessen 46ers (10:34). Würzburg (14:34) scored a big point.
