Caroline van der Plas (BBB) takes a step back after a series of threats. The politician will not appear in the media during that period and has canceled working visits, she confirms on Thursday after reporting from RTL Boulevard.
“I don’t feel safe at the moment,” said Van der Plas. She says she receives several threatening messages a week.
“The anti-farmer lobby or the anti-BBB lobby is running at full speed. The hate messages are increasing rapidly and death threats are now also coming in,” said Van der Plas.
