We were hopeful for wife four with Hans in Italy. But also the 39-year-old Natasja is no match for the presence of ex-wife Libera, who also still lives in the B&B. Initially Natasha still seemed to be of the ‘the more souls, the merrier’ principle, but that motto turned out to be short-lived in daily reality.
She notices that Hans has not yet closed certain chapters and, sensibly enough, quickly draws her conclusions. That comes with a lot of tears of disappointment on her side. But comfort yourself: you don’t have to stay close to Hans for the compliments, we see them in the car to their farewell lunch. Hans: “Have you ever thought about straight hair?” Natasha: “Curls are beautiful, aren’t they?” Hans: „I like straight hair. Have you always had that?”
Party animal
Victim five of this hopeless ex-wife soap is soon on the doorstep: Denise. Hungry Hans now summons Libera to stay a bit in the background, not to immediately throw in his own glasses again. Denise, meanwhile, shares her first impression about Hans: “A man who will give me some work.” Sharp eyes, Denise.
Hans in France is also saying goodbye. ‘Party Animal’ Daisy leaves the yard. Daisy is not the worst and blesses Petra: “It’s going to be her,” she says as she hugs her. We can’t wait as members of the Petrafanclub. But who would have thought this when last week Hans was still raving about Daisy in her riding boots and didn’t give Petra a look worthy anymore? Remarkable. Meanwhile, new housemate Anne-Marie has to get used to the regime, where no breakfast is served and lunch is something exotic. Fortunately, the wine flows freely.
Jealousy spectacle
At Ted we are now witnessing an amusing jealousy spectacle. We were fans of Tjerk, the charming man who seemed to fit in perfectly with Ted’s life. But due to the arrival of Ben, we are a bit turned off by Tjerk: he turns out to be a terrible snob. From the moment the raunchy Ben walks up to Ted’s path, his face is filled with horror. And he doesn’t exactly hide that. And that while Ben is a very sweetheart. Ted also sees that and this resolute woman has no jealousy polonaise: “You shouldn’t be so mean, otherwise you’ll go home”, Tjerk is told after his snob and sneer about ‘Our Kind of People’.
But nowhere do the tears flow so profusely as in Martijn’s B&B in Portugal. How this boy manages it is truly a mystery, but the handsome, nice women are fighting over him. He has since developed feelings for Marian with her ‘naughty look’, he tells her. Someone has to leave and that’s why Simone, his parents’ darling, gets a subtle thud from him. But the sensitive Martijn himself does not mind that either. Tears at breakfast, tears at the car when she leaves, tears at his mother, tears at Simone’s last note. You start to wonder if he made the right choice here. But when a day later Fenna shows up on the doorstep, he is back to normal. Marian and her mischievous look and the tears for Simone seem far away: she was his favorite from the first video, he tells her beaming.
love action
Natasha in France also has to wipe her tears, even if she doesn’t show them. Just before she muses to the viewer about how she should share her feelings for Jos with him, he comes to announce that he is leaving. Ouch. It must be a big disappointment for her. She stays behind with Menno, who really likes her and thinks she can find the way to her heart by changing as many sheets as possible, dragging laundry and washing her father’s car. Sweet, but it doesn’t seem to have attraction for Natasha. Natasha wants to ‘hunt’, she emphasizes. Especially when she discovers his ‘crown jewels’, in the form of two nipple piercings, Natasha seems to give up further. Newcomer Jan, meanwhile, seems to be attracting more attention. We hope for some love action between those two next week!
