The morning after in Tuscany the pickle date is still simmering in Hans’ B&B. The night before it completely escalated again and unfortunately I am not talking about the bedroom. But of course, how could it be otherwise, in the kitchen. Hayriye has seen a fierce side of Hans, which clearly shocked her. She even slept badly. This time not with Desiree in the lead role, but it has everything to do with the complicated situation between Hans and his ex under one roof. Otherwise it seems very complicated to me: dating with a third wheel, in the form of an ex in the house.
spoon-spoon
It is a lot cozier in Richard’s kitchen in Portugal. Who would have expected that in the first week of the program?! He and his first guest Simone have literally grown closer together. The two lovebirds have been spoon-spooning last night, exactly what Richard was craving so much in his registration video! But tough as they are, the reason for this sleepover is of course a new one topping (?) on the guest bed. In any case, its attraction explodes when Simone crawls into his lap after breakfast. Very nice those two. Apart from that ugly onesie.
But they are not dressed yet or number three is already on his way. The 52-year-old Gerry is attracted to busy men. Well girl, then you’ve come to the right place. I also feel that she has arrived at the wrong B&B of the program, because – except for the busy man – I can’t really discover the match yet. I am especially curious where Simone will lie down tonight…
Bitter pill
Dirk has been lying in that ugly blue lounger for three episodes now. He and Natasha are talking about the weather again. Of course with the necessary awkward silences, but according to Dirk it is mainly relaxed. During lunch the atmosphere doesn’t get much better and the best man is even too lazy to pull up her chair. Of course she is also the one who stands up for the bill. Dirk then asks to send a French ‘tikkie’. So much for the romance.
In Italy, in turn, Hans hopes to get the atmosphere above freezing again during an equally uncomfortable lunch. When I think this is a good move, he asks Hayriye how to send Desiree, wife number 2, home?! Yet in the end it is Hans who gives her the punch himself. Unfortunately for Desiree a musical without happy ending. Lunch was apparently a closure, so the suitcase with the evening dresses can be packed again. The poor girl didn’t see it coming at all. She doesn’t even understand his choice. I can’t follow that train of thought, because he already said on day two that he could never fall for a type like Desiree?! According to her, at their age, he should give it time. But patience is not in his vocabulary. No, she should just swallow this ‘bitter pill’. Thus yearning Hans.
no butterflies
Not much later it is Hayriye who gives him the thump and Hans did not see this coming. (Remember?!) There is clearly a lot of talking in this B&B, but little communication. Hayriye is even so done with the whole triangular (pardon the quadrangle!) relationship that she wants to travel separately to the Netherlands. Desiree’s suitcase has not yet been zipped up and she does not have the patience for that. I especially feel sorry for the taxi driver – who is always the same by the way! -, the best man can make this ride again an hour later.
At Richard’s every lady now walks around with the same necklace. By the way, I hope Gerry realizes that Ingrid is not also in the race. While Richard only has eyes for the vacuum cleaner in the pool, Gerry takes the bull by the horns. “Can you tell me if you and Simone have anything yet?” He doesn’t feel butterflies, is his answer for: ‘she was in bed with me last night’.
red convertible
The new single has also arrived at Natasja in France. Great, because then she can send Dirk home all the sooner in his red convertible. The 54-year-old Jos has been given up by his daughter, because his life is the same. Jos also likes to eat with a large group of friends at a long table. Who doesn’t, but that aside. Natasja is suddenly positive, but in her own way. She finds him ‘not unattractive’. Well, he can put this disguised compliment in his pocket. But what a relief Jos is. Especially next to Dirk. Will it still be fun there in France…
