Munich (dpa) – FC Bayern Munich will receive the championship trophy on the penultimate day of this Bundesliga season.
Captain Manuel Neuer will receive the trophy on May 8 after the home game against VfB Stuttgart from the new DFL Managing Director Donata Hopfen in the Allianz Arena, as the record champion announced.
Bayern secured their tenth championship in a row on matchday 31 with a 3-1 win over second-placed Borussia Dortmund. On the last day of the game, coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team will be visiting VfL Wolfsburg.
