The chapter at FC Bayern could be over for Sadio Mané after just one season. The fact that the numerous speculations about a change did not leave the attacker unaffected was shown on Sunday at the sidelines of the team presentation.
Sadio Mané certainly didn’t want to talk about his future, whether at Bayern or elsewhere, on Sunday.
When the Munich winger walked towards the exit in front of around 40,000 fans after the official team presentation and subsequent training session in the Allianz Arena, he refused an interview with the journalists present. Other Bayern stars, such as Leon Goretzka, made themselves available for a brief media interview.
Sadio Mané, however, was visibly pissed off when some cameras caught it. In passing, the Senegalese replied in no uncertain terms. “You piss me off every day and now you want to talk to me? Come on, folks!” AZ reporter Maximilian Koch shared the Bayern star’s reaction on Twitter.

The background to this is the numerous rumors of change that surround the superstar, who was only signed by Liverpool last summer as a “king transfer”. However, Mané looks back on a disappointing season in which he – also due to injury concerns – did not find his top form. With his physical attack on teammate Leroy Sané, the winger had also pushed himself offside.
As “kicker” and “Bild” report, the club management of FC Bayern has already informed the 31-year-old that plans will be made without him in the future and that he can look for a new employer. Recently there has been increasing speculation that Mané could be hired for the new season in Saudi Arabia, where Al-Nassr is said to be showing great interest. According to media reports, talks between the club and the player side have already taken place recently.
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently said about the controversial personnel: “Sadio is part of the team. As our coach said, we are starting with a team that may not be the team on September 1st in this constellation.”
