+++ Tuchel not too happy after beating BVB +++
Rival defeated, league lead regained: For Thomas Tuchel, the first game as head coach at Bayern could hardly have gone better. But the 49-year-old did not want to join in the initial euphoria. It was “jittery and a bit too wild” at the beginning, complained Tuchel: “We wanted more dominance.” In addition, his stars would have acted “too sloppy” from time to time. Tuchel described the two goals conceded in the final phase as a “mood dampener”.
+++ Noise around Nagelsmann-Aus does not subside +++
The row between club boss Oliver Kahn and “Sky” expert Lothar Matthäus escalated around Tuchel’s debut on Saturday at Bayern Munich. The record national player even accused the Munich CEO of having told the untruth in the dispute over the timing of the Nagelsmann separation.
The management team around Kahn, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and President Herbert Hainer hit back on Sunday. The last word on the matter does not appear to have been spoken yet.
