Robert Lewandowski’s move to FC Barcelona is not only a source of displeasure for some Bayern fans. Now a well-known US presenter is critical of the striker.
The Pole caused a lack of understanding among various Bayern supporters with his offensively formulated change request. Some TV experts have also been critical of Lewandowski’s behavior.
Vanessa Huppenkothen now also joins in this chorus. The presenter of the US broadcaster ESPN wrote on Twitter: “Bayern gave everything for him … sometimes we are very ungrateful.”
But Huppenkothen didn’t leave it at that. In another tweet, she added: “Nobody is indispensable! NOBODY, if you want to go, go!”
One could hardly express his disapproval of Lewandowski’s behavior in the past few weeks and months more clearly. Whether the Pole will take this criticism to heart seems extremely questionable – although the daughter of a Mexican and a German has 2.3 million followers on the social network.
In the end, Bayern met Lewandowski’s desire for a change of scenery. The two-time world footballer is moving from Bayern to FC Barcelona for a rumored 45 million euros. In addition, five million in possible bonuses should be added.
