Bayern Munich | “F *** You”: Fans denounce the bold ticket prices

The FC Bayern fan scene reacted with harsh criticism to what they saw as the overpriced ticket prices for the German record champions’ Champions League game at Viktoria Pilsen.

“500 percent price increase? F… you!” was the headline of a message from the No. 12 Club and the South Curve groups. In it, the supporters targeted the conditions in international football.

In the stadium they repeated this turn. In addition, the fans stayed away from the guest block until the 12th minute of the game in protest.

Pilsen is accused of having increased its price level, which is usual in the Czech league, by 500 percent with the cheapest guest card for 70 euros. It was “a shame” and “a disrespect how the fans’ pockets are grabbed here,” said the open letter.

UEFA’s price cap with an upper limit of 70 euros for the cheapest guest ticket is “useless” and Pilsen is just one example among many of the need for stricter regulation.

“The professional football system is sick and hitting the wall,” the statement continued. FC Bayern is also called upon “to save football as we know and love it” and to keep the game accessible to everyone.
