The German record champions make the next serious mistake. At VfL Bochum, Tuchel’s team actually starts strong – but then all the dams break.
FC Bayern Munich is finally in a serious crisis: The German record champions embarrassed themselves to the bone at VfL Bochum on matchday 22 and suffered a completely deserved 2:3 (1:2) defeat – their third competitive defeat in a row.
Jamal Musiala (14th) had put Munich in the lead, Takuma Asano (38th), Keven Schlotterbeck (44th) and Kevin Stöger (85th, penalty) turned the game around for Bochum, who at times played unleashed, against an unimaginative and uninspired FC Bayern . Dayot Upamecano also saw the penalty as a yellow-red card. Harry Kane’s goal (90+4) came too late for the guests.
