The season came to an early end for winger Karim Bellarabi from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
The 33-year-old tore a muscle fiber in his left thigh on Wednesday in the final training session before the semifinals in the Europa League at AS Roma in the evening (9 p.m. / RTL) and will be out for the remaining three weeks of the season. The club announced on Thursday.
Bellarabi, whose contract is expiring, did not travel to the away game against the Italian first division side.
