Reports about Bavaria’s interest
Sports director Simon Rolfes has ruled out departures from Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen this winter and thus also a transfer of defender Jonathan Tah. Recently there were media reports about defending champion Bayern Munich’s alleged interest in the 27-year-old national player.

The current second-place team from Munich is expected to be missing South Korean Min-jae Kim on defense in January because of their participation in the Asian Championship. The Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui, who is currently injured, will probably be at the Africa Cup, so that the record champions’ defensive ranks will thin out.

English clubs are also said to have felt in the past few weeks about a possible transfer of Tah to Leverkusen (background). “Everyone stays. “We’re not giving away any players in the winter,” Rolfes made it clear to “Kicker” on Saturday.
