According to a media report, Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen have rejected a high offer from Aston Villa for offensive player Moussa Diaby.
Accordingly, the English Premier League club offered around 45 million euros for the French international, which Bayer apparently was not enough. According to Sky, the factory club requires up to 60 million euros to release Diaby. His contract with Bayer runs until the end of June 2025.
The 24-year-old Diaby moved from Paris Saint-Germain to Leverkusen in 2019, where the fast and tricky winger impressed over long stretches. In 125 Bundesliga games so far, he has scored 31 goals and 38 assists.
