Bayer Leverkusen’s striker Patrik Schick is about to return to the third-placed squad in the Bundesliga after a five-week injury break.
“He got through the week well. The injury didn’t cause any problems. That’s why he’s available,” said the Bayer coach Gerardo Seoane before the game against Hertha BSC on Saturday (3.30 p.m., here in the BZ live ticker).
Schick, who is the league’s second-best scorer with 20 goals, had to sit out due to a torn muscle fibre. A start from the start would probably be premature, but he will move into the squad to the satisfaction of his coach.
“Patrik can be a difference player who not only relies on crosses but can also create situations with his technique and speed,” said Seoane, who still has to do without a number of important players.

The Bayer coach expects the Berliners to improve. “It will be a difficult game against a solid team,” said Seoane. You can already see the handwriting of the new coach. “We know, that Felix Magath is a coach with a lot of experience and great success, who has already given the team a certain touch,” said the Swiss.
“We are prepared for a Hertha with certain virtues that the coach brings,” said Seoane.
