The quarter-final second leg in Milan developed into a thriller. At Bayern, the nerves were blank shortly before the end.

FC Bayern left the Champions League. The German record champion was not enough for a 2-2 in the quarter-final secondary with Inter Milan after the Italians won the first leg 2-1. Bavaria fought with all means until shortly before the end – but could also be carried away into a controversial scene.

Because Munich’s defense lawyer Josip Stanišić made a dropout in a hectic final phase and triggered a pack formation. What happened? In the sixth minute of stoppage time, Bayern received a throw -in in his own half. Inter-trainer Simone Inzaghi caught the ball, but did not give it to Stanišić, but a seated ball boy.

The young person did not consider long and rolled the play equipment on to take some time from the clock. Stanišić then lost his nerves and pushed the ball boy from his chair. It didn’t take long before the Inter-Bank reacted to the campaign: Several players and team members jumped up and gestured towards the angry Croatian.

Referee Slavko Vinčić hurried, de -escalated the situation and showed Inters Federico Dimarco the yellow card. Stanišić said after the game on T-Online and confessed: “Every team in the world plays in the end. It was a bit stupid from me that I pushed it there. At that moment I was just angry.”

In the end, the scene brought nothing to Bayern, and the Italians were allowed to cheer for the next round. In the semi-finals of the premier class, it is now against ex-national coach Hansi Flick and FC Barcelona.
