If you don’t want enough battery power all day long, you should check out the greedy apps.

Some applications use more battery power than others. This may be due, for example, to the fact that they use background processes and constantly monitor the user’s location, for example.
Background processes are not detected directly during use, but can still be tracked via phone settings. Both Android and Iphone phones offer their own battery settings that allow you to monitor the power consumption of your apps.
For Android and iPhone, follow this path to access battery settings: Settings -> Battery. These settings already show at a glance how the battery has been used. The diagram shows how the charge has dropped throughout the day and what are the peak usage times.

Through the same settings, it is possible to see which applications use the most battery. Of course, a lot depends on which apps are most actively used, but the apps listed may have the background activity already mentioned, which consumes battery power even when not in use.
Battery cancer applications include somes applications such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. In addition, weather applications and sports applications typically consume battery power in the background.
Last year, pCloud listed the 20 applications that consume the most battery last year. The top ten of the list looked like this:
- Fitbit
- Verizon
- Uber
- Skype
- Airbnb
- Bigo Live
- Tinder
- Bumble
The big impact, of course, is what applications can be found on your phone and what rights you have given them. This is why you should check the settings. Through the settings, you can change whether the application can access a location in the background, for example.

Android phones may even recommend enabling optimization, which allows you to turn off high-power apps, turn off GPS, or change the screen refresh rate if possible.
Android users should read Google’s guidelines for improving battery life. You can access Android instructions here.
Apple has also listed handy battery tips in its own fact sheet that Iphone owners should check out. You can get Apple instructions here.
