Representing our country in the UEFA Conference League this season, Konyaspor faced Bate Borisov in the first match of the 2nd qualifying round. The green and white team won the match played in Konya 3-0 and took the advantage before the match to be played in Konya again. Due to the sanction imposed by UEFA on Belarusian teams, BATE Borisov would play the home matches in the European cups without spectators and on a neutral field. After the Konyaspor matchup, they agreed to play the first match in Konya without an audience, and in this case, our green-white representative will play the second match in his own field, just like the first match. Such a decision was taken because Belarus supported Russia’s war on Ukraine.
