Bastiaan Ragas responds to the speculation about his alcohol consumption. Tooske Ragas’ husband has been portrayed by Marc-Marie Huijbregts as a kind of alcoholic. But is that right?
Together with his son, Bastiaan Ragas is currently one of the candidate couples in the RTL 4 show Race Across the World. There he does not exactly look prosperous and comedian Marc-Marie Huijbregts alludes to the fact that this is partly due to his alcohol consumption. “I have the idea – but well, you can never say that out loud – that he drinks a lot.”
Bastian responds
Is it true that Bastiaan is an alcoholic? He leaves that in the middle, but he does respond remarkably sportively to Marc-Marie’s criticism of his haggard appearance.
Bastian tweets: “Dear Marc-Marie, I was also shocked, but luckily things are going a lot better again. ❤️❤️❤️ I will pass on your justified compliments to Sem! #cheers.”
Confronted
The message is answered by Marc-Marie. He says: “Dear Bastiaan, I really enjoy you in ‘Race..’. Seriously. And also from Sam. What a sweet son you have. And of course I didn’t mention alcoholism. It seems confronting to me to look back. But you only learn from that.”
Then Bastiaan again: “It is a wonderfully social bed of nails 😉 😘 and yes I am an open beer er book!”
Angry followers
Followers of Bastiaan are a bit pissed off at Marc-Marie. Loretta says: “Never really been a fan of Marc-Marie, and now not at all… I don’t think it’s possible what he says. Like he doesn’t enjoy a beer or wine while traveling. It’s good that you’re taking it sportively.”
Bastiaan is certainly sporty. He even jumps into the breach for the comedian: “He probably doesn’t mean it like that 💫🍾🙏💋.”
Loretta: “Probably not, but it kind of seemed like a little bit to me.”
Alcoholic
All in all, Bastiaan leaves it in the middle whether he has an alcohol problem. In any case, according to his followers, that is not too bad. Marcel, holding a champagne bottle in his nickname says: “Well, say… A scorching hot country, a tough journey and then drink a nice beer. Is that no longer possible?!?!?”
One Edwin even encourages Bastiaan to keep drinking: “You wash these kinds of articles down with beer…”
