The German national basketball player Satou Sabally was eliminated with the Dallas Wings in the quarterfinals of the women’s professional league WNBA.
The Texans lost 58-73 to the Connecticut Sun in the crucial third game. Also in 2021 Sabally (24) was eliminated with Dallas in the first playoff round. In 2020, the Berliner had missed the championship round with the Wings.
Sabally was on the field for almost 20 minutes in Game 3 against Connecticut and had six points and a rebound.
Long injured
After an ankle injury, the New York-born Berliner only returned to the field at the start of the playoffs. She contributed ten points in game 1 of the quarter-final series (68:93) and five in game two (89:79).
