One-way race, with +17 already at the end of the second quarter: MVP Jordan Mickey with 14 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes for the Segafredo winger
The 19th round of Lba ends with a clear victory for Virtus against Treviso. The black Vu overwhelm the Nutribullet 61-100 and detach Venice and Milan in second place in the rankings, also thanks to Reyer’s stop in Reggio Emilia. The MVP of the match is Jordan Mickey, who rocks the game coming off the bench thanks to his physicality: 14 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes for the Segafredo winger.

Virtus starts off great: they are very careful in defense and in the other half of the field they are dangerous both when they arm Belinelli from the arc and when they attack the opponent’s area. It takes Treviso a while to get going, but then they unlock the moment Robinson comes into the game. After dominating in the first minutes, the Bianconeri found themselves subjected to the attacks of the American point guard: Zizic took care of keeping the Black Vu in contact with his post plays. In the second quarter Segafredo proves to be deeper and comes back on top again thanks to the excellent contribution of its men coming off the bench: Jordan Mickey, in particular, is a factor under the basket and drags Virtus towards the double-digit lead. The first half ends with Banchi’s team ahead by 17 points (34-51).

In the second half, Nutribullet did not appear to be back on the pitch, while Bologna continued to rack up points without difficulty, widening the gap between the two teams further and further. Vitucci tries to lower the quintet to react to the excessive power of Virtus, but his choice does not seem to pay the right dividends and in the defensive half of the pitch clearly favors several mismatches in favor of the black Vu. In the final there was nothing left for Treviso to do, who raised the white flag and allowed themselves to be overwhelmed by Segafredo. The Bianconeri achieved their fourth consecutive victory in the championship and returned to putting Brescia at the top of the table.
